Remote? remote... yeah.... the one!
You know how the song goes, "the heel bone is connected to the foot bone, the foot bone is connected to the leg bone!"...
The cable box is connected to the receiver, the blu ray is connected to the receiver, the receiver is connected the tv.... and the song goes on!
Why should it bother you?
Remember the good old days when you had all but one clicker to control the TV and watch your programs.... but OH NO! You had to go get all that fancy gadgets with all their fancy remotes and different modes of control!!! Now you need a 15 minute video just to make people understand how to operate all those remotes!!!! And what about the WAF of the "cool" gadgets which you bought for the home theater? Don't you want to invest in one more gadget to get her to accept all the stuff, and share it with you.... or do you want to let her take it with the settlement? :0
Think about it... you fiddling around for the different remotes when you are engrossed in the next scene that will blow out of the home theater! Do you want to go hit the rewind button and get hit by her? Nah!!!
Go get a universal remote .... blow your WAF out of the roof when you control the fan sitting in the corner and dim the lights .... all without moving your butt off the couch!! Bloating your mid section is an added advantage in this situation :p

Its a neat little toy that does the trick you need... and its got a touch screen to scream! Go find some neat little icons for your favorite channels from places like www.iconharmony.com & bam... you don't need to surf the channel listings NE more! Touch the channel icon on your remote... and your entertainment system does your bidding... its like one of those little genies!
Wish they could program it to spring some arms/legs and go get you something from the cooler... but then hey... after watching transformers... I don't want to see my remote get up and walk around! I'll do the walking!
Finally... you have the home theatre of your dreams and a little wife approved gadget to go with it! AMEN... there come the credits to the movie.. adios!
