Cloning ... the new economic crisis?
I recently read an article about cloning leading to a potentially new economic crisis. How only the wealthy/successful will be able to clone themselves and in turn be able to become ever more wealthy and successful. The poor in turn will be left to procreate and multiply the old fashioned way!
Here are a few of my questions....
- Won't cloning lead to the point of ethical challenges? How can you be @ two places in the same time, managing any kind of business? I know that once a clone is made, he/she will be a totally different individual from that point in time and forward. But the question still remains!
- I personally don't think that the poor will remain poor! Think about this.. the amount of money spent by on a kid.... all the diapers, all the clothes, candies, birthday parties, video games, school, college and etc etc... will almost be equal to the cost of creating a clone.... the only difference will be time taken!
- This will be a most interesting turn of financial events ... if cloning is technically possible in its truest sense!
What says you??? Get your instant disappointment via cloning, or wait 20 years the old fashioned way??
